Catherine David Produces Inspired NZ Design Items From Aotearoa
Catherine David graduated with an honours degree in Design from Auckland University in 1992. In 2009 she graduated with a Masters in “Museums and Cultural Heritage” – a curating degree.
Catherine David started her NZ design career with a range of soft furniture and bed linen. A collection of this range has been archived by the Auckland War Commemorative Museum, New Zealand. Catherine David NZ Design Limited now designs and manufactures a range of functional homeware products which are distributed through New Zealand and globally. The range covers a great number of materials and functions.

* Catherines brand – Catherine David Designs remains a NZ design leader with an expanding variety of products which now include lamps, light fittings, tableware and stationery, always eye catching in their originality and display.
* The shower curtain range won the New Zealand Home and Entertaining Award in 2005 for best lavatory design product.
* Catherine David has just finished post graduate studies achieving a Gurus in a curating degree.
In her free time Catherine David is involved in the art of Icon writing with a Russian art teacher.
