Enjoying The Creative Process
Creative courses in scrapbooking are running at our local hall now. It’s about time we had a communal meeting place to enjoy our craft. I just don’t have the resources to buy alot of the more complex tools to create the simple yet effective looks alot of the other more advanced scrapbookers have, I do appreciate being able to use them when we are all together and the younger ladies helping me out when I can’t quite get the hang on something. I’m hoping the weekly meetings will turn out to be a long term thing, with everyone supporting it the hall hire shouldn’t be a problem, we all really achieve alot in the two hours we are there, our photo albums really are coming to life, particularly with the addition of the Reborn Doll. I’m currently working on a fishing theme, I took some great shots when David and I were on the road last year. We found a beautiful spot, calm water, lovely sunset and thought we’d throw a rod in. The photo’s turned out so well I really want to create a couple of pages with a fishing theme to highlight that day. There are so many exciting trims and embellishments that I have found online, they should be here soon and I will be able to get on to creating a wonderful family album.
