Why I Love Reborning Vinyl Dolls
Another day over, kids are finally in bed and now it’s my time. Well it’s the two hours I get a night after the little treasures are off in sleepland. I’m happy to take what I can get. I really like to use this time productively, its’ such a short period that I can really achieve so much, though I quite often get to the end of the day and just want to collapse in front of the television with a cup of tea. My latest interest is reborning vinyl dolls, I find this so challenging and really pushes me to exceed my own expectations of myself. I love creating a realism in the Reborn Babies, my friends often mistake them for real babies, which of course just makes me want to make more. I’ve looked into selling but I really don’t know that I could part with any, I spend all my spare time now carefully layering the paint and adding the detail. I really feel like I put so much love into them that they just can’t be bought. So while the latest tv drama and a cup of tea seem really appealing, I will no doubt find myself painting again this evening.
